All money received will go towards buying land and building supplies unless
Otherwise designated to go to other needs. I am not at this time a registered
Non-profit organization to be used for tax purposes, I do hope to be eventually.
I can offer a receipt and will be depositing into the answerthecall bank account
And will answer all financial questions to be as accountable as needed for receiving.
This site is a work in progress and this is the best way I know how to do it for now.
Another option would be to send money via Western Union to P. Raju and I can Let you know how to do this. It is fast, effect and fairy inexpensive and I have been sending funds that way for 1 ½ years and it has made it safely to him every time. Just let him know the need for which you would like to designate it, or else send it to me and I can Western Union it from here. Additional needs One thing that stuck me during my visit to India is that the needs go far beyond the orphanage for the children. There is daily feeding, clothes, education for them. Areas that monthy support would help with while the building funds are being raised. The widows. These women are so beautiful and are a whole ministry on their own, with no one to provide for them they are very poor and many are in ill health. They need food, clothes, medicine and in some cases a place to live. I think down the road it would be awesome to have a place for them to live at the orphanage so that they can help take care of the children, and at the same time have some of their own physical needs met. Lepers. These are the outcasts of society and P. Raju ministers to them with food and needs additional medicines and medical supplies to help with their physical bodies. Tribal area Pastors. Many of these men and their families suffer persecution while serving. They are poor and need help with food, clothes, bike’s for transportation. They also help to take care of their local poor children and widows. While I was in India a brother gave me money to provide 2 bikes for pastors. Approx. $100.00 bought 2 bikes and were presented to two Pastors. They were so blessed to receive this gift yet there are many more who need transportation so they can visit the poor and sick in their areas. Perhaps they men could be sponsored with a montly support to help them in their work. Women’s Sewing Center. Sister Hanna and some of the church women are teaching many of the women of the church, as well as local Hindu women, to sew. This is a means to help them provide for their families with sewing and mending jobs. We have bought them 1 sewing machine, and they have 2 more, but could use some more so each woman could get more hands on experience. Each machine cost around $80.00. I have an idea to send the women the money to buy the bulk fabric and supplies and they could sew clothing for the children. This would generate for them a little income for their families, they gain the experience, and the children need clothes. Not only the children in the church but many area poor children. I have been sending boxes of clothes but now the Post Office will not send any international surface mail, they all have to be airmail. This has increased the price from around $35.00 for a box of clothes to over $100.00 a box. It would make more sense to send them the money and have the women earn while providing a need. Bibles and literature for Prisoners. Please get in touch with either myself or Pasor Raju if you are moved to help in any of these areas. I can assure you that these people are good stewards and totally accountable for every blessing that comes their way. Money designated to a specific need will go to just that. And as you can see, the list in endless. Thank you SO MUCH for having a heart for India and helping to Answer the Call. Please write if you have any questions or imput that could help this ministry. It is still very new and is a work in progress. Gods Blessing Lea Haisch | |
